Relationship between Views Page and Feed
September 07, 2011, 06:03:01 am
Hi Folks,

I am in the process of setting up a view which contains a page with a bunch of Civi Membership fields. One of them is Membership Type which I 'expose' in the view page to allow users to select from a drop down list of Membership Types. This then displays the relevant members.  I have also created a Feed within the same view which allows a CSV icon to be displayed on the page so that a list of members can be output to a csv file. I would like the feed to output the members that have been selected in the page view. However it always displays ALL members irrespective of the selection in the page.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards

Problem Solved - The filters on the page and the feed must be identical. I had inadvertently entered the same filters n both the page and the view but they were in a different order - hence the problem. If the filters are identical then whatever records are selected in the page will be output in the feed.

Problem solved.
