and you have user creation enabled in your profile?

do you have user activation enabled for joomla users? are users created, but perhaps just not activating?

Before the update I had 181 users...
I no changed nothing.

I've just tried to make a registration.
After sending... a white page appears at this url:
http://www.mywebsite.it/index.php?option=com_civicrm&task=civicrm/profile/create&Itemid=54

but nothing happens

anyway:
user creation enabled - ok
user activation enabled for joomla users - ok

you said that when someone registers, there was no joomla user created. i'm just making sure you have the option to create joomla users turned on in your profile.

try editing and resaving the menu item. sometimes joomla needs them to be re-set after a component upgrade.

I have copied my "Custom Profile"...
I renamed it...
I create a new link on my Joomla menu...

Nothing's changed

On User Menu (after registration)... I had a link to change own details (address, phone number etc etc).
Now It doesn't work it as well.  :-[ :-[ :-[

After changing something... A white page appears at this url:
http://www.mywebsite.it/index.php?option=com_civicrm&task=civicrm/profile/edit&Itemid=56

Update has gone ok.
Should I do the update again?

i think you need to just work through various scenarios and try to identify the source of the problem. for example --

try creating a simple profile (couple fields) and test
try accessing a profile using the civi path, rather than via a joomla menu item
work through the profile advanced settings to see if one might be triggering the problem

it seems to be working fine on the demo site, and is working for my sites, so there's likely something with your installation that is throwing it off.

I'm not sure to understand what you are suggesting.... :(

Is it possible that now CivCRM has problems with SEO?

well...
you are having problems with your active profile. i'm just suggesting you create a new profile that is simpler, and not accessed via the joomla menu. if it works, then you know the problem is either with the joomla menu item, or something specific to that profile. just trying to suggest a few debug steps.

I have problems with the page to update own details as well... not only the profile for registration.
I'm confused.... :-\ :-\ :-\

I found this error in my server log_error:

[Fri Sep 09 14:40:42 2011] [error] [client xx.xx.xxx.xx] Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 26214401 bytes) in /home/myroma/domains/myroma.it/public_html/administrator/components/com_civicrm/civicrm/CRM/Core/Error.php on line 386, referer: http://www.myroma.it/creare-account.html

It could be the problem?
thanks
