How can I disable the RECAPTCHA ?

I want to remove the reCaptcha function. In the advanced settings of the profiles, I unmark the 'include reCaptcha' box.
When I remove in the general configuration the reCaptcha public and private Keys, I get the API error message of reCaptcha on my subscription forms in the civievent frontend.
How can I get of rid of reCaptcha ?
