No Confirmation Email!!!! Insted I see an empty page...

I hope somebody can help me with this annoying problem.

When people register they receive no confirmation mail. They are registered  as "Pending from pay later". But there is no mail sent to them. Instead they are redirected to an empty page: index.php?option=com_civicrm&task=civicrm/event/register (after long time)

If I turn Confirmation Email off everything works perfect.
