Multiple deliveries
September 14, 2011, 01:42:59 pm

We just sent a Civimailing and are getting reports that it's being delivered multiple times to individual recipients -- up to 8 copies PER PERSON.

It is currently still running. Any idea how to fix this?

Thanks.

1. Might want to cancel the mailing immediately to avoid future repeated deliveries

2. what is the job size and batch size?

3. is the cron job aborting (instead of terminating gracefully?)

Hi lobo, thanks for the response. I did some debugging but couldn't find the problem -- restarted apache -- ran some tests -- and it seems to be working correctly again.

Now I'm hoping the CiviSMTP folks can help me -- my Civi mailing report shows that all deliveries were completed, but I and several other recipients did not actually receive the email. Is it possible they got queued there and trapped in a spam filter etc because of the zillions of messages going out? How can I figure out who actually got the mailing?

Thanks
Eliet

Hi Eliet,

what drupal ccrm version are you using?

did you get bounces for those email addresses in the CiviMail report?

try sending it to just a couple of addresses from that list that you can access and see if it goes to spam folder

additionally you can email us more details such as your account user name and the date/time of mailing  so we can check our logs.

thanks,

-Leyla
