Installing problem of civiccrm 4.0.5 on Joomla 1.6/1.7

Dear all,

i tried to install the latest civicrm 4.0.5 on Joomla 1.7 or 1.6 but it's crazy:

I have in error.log following logs: "File does not exist, refferer: " - The path is totaly wrong.

I checked some tips on this forum, but all pathes in the settings-file are correct.

Actually I miss the Navigation-Menu & the Administer-Drop-Down.

Does anyone have an idea, what going wrong? - I did a lot of installations of civicrm on joomla/drupal in the past - never had this problems...

The install ran OK? With no errors?

And now when you try to use it, you have errors?

What URL gives the error?

Hi,


installation was very smooth.

On apache I have errors regarding the referer. see attached file.

No errors on UI !
