New Activity Type

I have created a new activity type through the Option Lists.  However, the option does not appear when I try to create a new activity.  Only Meeting, Phone Call and Send an Email show up.

What other settings do I have to set in order for the new activity type to show up when I click on NEW Activity or an Individual“s activity.

I looked in the documentation but according to that, there is nothing else that needs to be done.

did you check the "Enabled?" box when you created the new activity? does the activity show Enabled? Yes on the activities list page?

Yes, It is enabled.
