IMAP server working, but EmailProcessor not connecting

Hi Folks,

I'm trying to set up CiviMail, but having a persistent error when I try to verify my settings are working for the bounced e-mail account.

I get the error:

The IMAP server did not accept the username and/or password

Over the course of the day, I have set up e-mail accounts on three different IMAP servers (one being gmail), but get the same error with all of them.  I am able to access each different account from within Apple Mail, can send and receive messages, but when I run EmailProcessor.php in a url, I get the above error.

I'm sure the server, username, and password settings are correct in CiviMail->Mail Accounts, and I have tested with and without SSL.  No change.

One exceedingly curious thing is that I tried changing the Mail Accounts settings to POP3 for the gmail account, reset the  server to pop.gmail.com, but the error message still referenced the IMAP server!

It feels like EmailProcessor.php is not picking up the settings from Mail Accounts.

I'm running Drupal 7.8 and CiviCRM 4.0.5.  My server is running PHP 5.2.17.

Hello again -

I still don't know what was really going on, but it seems to now be working.

I had two mail accounts set up, one was set as Email-to-activity and the other Bounce processing (Default).  I was assuming EmailProcessor.php was automatically selecting the Bounce processing account selected as default, but it seems that it was always selecting the Email-to-activity account instead.

I deleted the extra account and, voila, all is well.  Well, that is, for me, but it would appear EmailProcessor has some kind of ailment.

Of course, this little corner of paradise is only going to last as long as I don't want to add another account to the Mail Accounts in Civi, so I still wouldn't mind hearing from others who have worked through this.

How do you run it? from the cli or via the web (wget?)

What is the command you run (modify the login/pwd/key before pasting)

The command was:
http://mydomain.org/drupal/sites/all/modules/civicrm/bin/EmailProcessor.php?name=my_user&pass=my_pass&key=my_key
