Tell-a-Friend Email names wrong event

Hello,
we are having a bit of trouble with the Tell-a-Friend feature for the online registration for events. Namely, in the Subject line of the Tell-a-Friend email, the wrong Event is named (Person XY wants to tell you about the event ZZ). More precisely, it is not even an event, it is an online contribution page that is referred to in the subject line. I dont know how this happens and hope somebody has an idea and advise why this is going wrong. The tell-a-friend feature actually is quite a nice one but if its not working correctly, we cannot use it of course.

The link in the tell-a-friend email leading to the respective event information page is working out fine by the way, its only this subject line matter thats causing problems.

Any hints appreciated! thank you.

that seems like a not very nice bug. Can you double check and ensure it indeed is a bug (by repeating the process maybe?). If so, please file an issue.

If you can take look and offer a patch that would be great. else, we'll take a look and fix for the future release
