Is this functional for a phone canvass?

We have a phone canvass that has been in operation for decades.  We need a CRM that can print individual names based on a list queried by date (with the most recent contribution history on each sheet), as well as something that can set up sustaining (monthly, quarterly) contributions to be queried and to run reports for processing. 

Is this functionality possible with CiviCRM/CiviCampaign?

We have worked with a couple of organisations who have had a long running phone canvas operation that have switched to CiviCRM. They have been very happy with CiviCRM so far but, they have required quite a bit of customisation.

From what I have seen long-running operations have a lot of organisational processes that they want supported by their software (rather than to change processes to fit their software.

"We need a CRM that can print individual names based on a list queried by date (with the most recent contribution history on each sheet)" is not too difficult - we used the pdf letter functionality (available from a search or from a contact record) & wrote a template for a page-per-person phone turf that included some custom tokens including a list of recent contributions.

(there is some code here but it has been partially reworked so isn't in a 'ready-to-wear' state.)

I think with regards to your monthly, quarterly contributions you are looking at setting them up as pledges. There are existing reports for pledges (including an overdue report). One thing that has been missing for our customers in this situation is that they really want to be able to set up recurring credit card payments as pledges - functionality which is currently not there & which was estimated to me as about 40 hours.

I also think with the survey and campaign functionality we are well on our way to having a really good online phone canvassing system in place (the missing piece is VOIP integration). Would be great if your org could help facilitate this and make it happen
