We run multiple Events in our System. The events are run by event managers who have two roles with regards to CiviCRM

a) Define the wording for the online registration
b) Check the participants and approve them

Is there a way to link an event manager to an event (e.g. through the participant type) and give them access to only their events so they can do the above two steps?

You should be able to use the aclGroups hook on event and expose what events this user can edit / see

I think we experimented with it, but never used it. so there might be a few bugs still present

I think item b still requires civievent permissions
