On my to do list for the week would be:
  • reframing the developer training to our new format
  • starting an implementation cookbook
  • revamping the relationship API
And we are looking at the week of 12th December, tentatively from Monday to Friday.

Hi Michael,
I would expect registration here: http://civicrm.org/civicrm/event/register?reset=1&id=164&cid=0....but will put you on the list! Do you not see a 'Register Now!' button at the bottom of the form (the link I posted earlier)?

I got a few things from the last sprint around jQuery I'd want to move forward, def.

On my "things I'd like to improve" is the UI:

- edit in place (click on the name in the summary to edit it without having to go to the edit form...)
- a grid mode (to mass update or mass create contacts)

And I'm sure they are plenty of things to do around the API too ;)

As for the timing, won't be able to stay the full week, I'm flighting to the US at the end of the week, and the last days before my holidays tend to be quite busy;(

Sounds great! I think that I could really benefit from this type of seminar. I feel that I have a lot to learn about crm in general, and proper use of the software. It would also be great if I could learn a few specialized solutions such as the integration of conference call software, and how to solve some a few of the most common customer relations issues. It would be great if you were to touch on some of these things. Thanks.

We'd really love to see at least a day or two focussed on writing more unit and web tests.

A few hard core developers could also work on improvements to the testing stuff so its easier to install etc (hint to xavier!!)

We can help coordinate and create various test issues for folks to tackle

Hi,

on the civimobile:

There is almost nothing to do on the server side (believe me, we learnt the hard way with Kyle).
The best structure is to deliver dumb html, and do all the logic in js on data fetched using the ajax api

on test:
One more time, wanted to run some tests on the train, and one more time the right combination of what to put where escaped me.
If we can't make the test script "usable"  easily, at least add a tests/README spelling out the syntax
