Event Registration Not Going to PayPal

Hi all,

We have a client who has an event setup with fees. They have created a price set for 'suggested donations' that includes a select option of $0.00.

When a user tries to register and clicks the continue button, the status bar says "Reading xxx.org" and then fails to move to the confirmation page so that a user can complete the payment to PayPal.

Could the price set with a price option of $0 be the problem?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

As a note, their PayPal payment processor is set up correctly and the account is working and active. And their contribution pages are working correctly.
