Editing Contact Type results in Acces Denied
September 27, 2011, 04:27:24 pm
I tried to add a sub type under organizations ... but when I went to edit it it locked me out and said 'access denied'  I have all drupal permissions and it still wont let me change the info on the type.
How can I fix this?

Running v 3.4.5

Can you check and see if you get the same behaviour on the demo site? If not, you will probably have to review your permissions for CiviCRM actions.

Also make sure you're still logged in. If the URL changes from www to no www (or vice versa) then you won't be logged in.

@hershel - you are right it switches to no www.  how does that happen?  I flushed the templates C and changed the url path but still happens.  Do I need to clear those tables in the db?

You can check the BASEURL in civicrm.settings.php and update and then rebuild the menus.
