Display contacts in front end (Joomla)
September 29, 2011, 08:07:28 am
We are building a site for a local rugby club, and we would like to be able to allow certain privileged Joomla front end users to see lists of users from the front end.  I can use the Joomla 1.7 acl systemto set up a menu item that only the coach of a particular age group will see when he logs in. I want that menu to open a list of his group of players. For example Peter coaches the 12-14year old boys. On his user menu I want a link that will open the list of 12-14year old boys.

I have set up a smart group that shows this in the backend. How can I do this in the front end of Joomla.

Thanks for any tips or advice.

other than removing the administrator part in the url, there should be no differences between front end and backend civicrm links

can u create a front end menu item pointing to the front end url to show all the players that the coach has permission on
