Hi,
i have tried the patch that is given in #CRM-8855 issue of jira for civicrm.
i have applied that but i have not got any dashlet in the user dash board. and if i dont creat the new dashlet then there is no new changes in that one too. also i want to show results according to status 'to be assigned(custom option value)'. any help how can i change that ll be great.

By the way this patch say that

"This patch attempts to answer the question, "Can I quickly see all the outstanding activities assigned to me?" by adding a list of "Your Activities" to the User Dashboard, showing all activities assigned to the user and having status of "scheduled". "

Hi Naseem,

That patch is actually meant to affect the user dashboard (a.k.a. contact dashboard), which is different from the CiviCRM home page dashboard. It's an unfortunate confusion of names, really.

  • CiviCRM home-page / dashboard (IS NOT affected by this patch): http://exmaple.com/civicrm
  • Contact dashboard (IS affected by this patch): http://example.com/civicrm/user?reset=1
