Undefined variable line 170 subscribe.php

I am setting up a new site and have configured a mailing list group and am attempting to create a subscription block.  However, when I navigate to /civicrm/mailing/subscribe and input my email address and select the group, I receive this error.

Notice: Undefined variable: errors in CRM_Mailing_Form_Subscribe::formRule() (line 170 of /home/galvestoncountygop/public_html/sites/all/modules/civicrm/CRM/Mailing/Form/Subscribe.php).

I just upgraded to CiviCRM 4.0.6 hoping that might take care of the issue, but it remains.  I do receive my confirmation email and all appears to work, just the notice.

Any help would be appreciated.

I've fixed this notice for CiviCRM v4.1. You can suppress notices for now. We hope to fix all of them by 4.1 :)
