Hello--

I am trying to enable the 'Force Secure URLs'. I get the following error: 'You need to set up a secure server before you can use the Force Secure URLs option.' We have a cert installed, but it is for 'www.mysite.com' and not for 'mysite.com'. After reading this thread:

it seems like a cert covering both are required. Is that still the case? Is there any way around that?

You should be able to use an apache redirect to force all hits on your site to www.mysite.com. It is always good practice with drupal to force use of either www or no www as drupal will treat people as having different sessions if they move between them.

You should be able to find more about apache redirects by talking to Uncle Google
