Changing the value in the From: address header
October 06, 2011, 11:52:00 am
Hello all,

When using the "Send Email" activity to send email to a contact, I have the option of sending from my email address or from the default email I've set up in Administer CiviCRM >> Configure >> From Email Addresses.  But when I receive the email it is always from "stateoffice@grtl.org" <stateoffice@grtl.org>, however the Reply-To header is set to my user account's email address.

Where do I change this address?   It's not the domain email address in Administer CiviCRM >>  Configure >>  Domain Information.  It's not the SMTP username in Administer CiviCRM  >> Global Settings >> Outbound Email (SMTP/Sendmail).  I've even looked in the civicrm.settings.php file.  I'd like to change the name associated with the email address ("Georgia Right to Life" <stateoffice@grtl.org>) so that when contacts receive mail they immediately associate it with my organization.

Problem solved ... some debugging custom code was overriding the value.  Disabled it and everything works OK.
