Drupal Page Not Found Error on Install Path CiviCRM 3.4.6

So I have done a fresh install of drupal 6.22 and uploaded the CiviCRM 3.4.6 to the sites/all/modules folder as instructed in the installation instructions. When I go to http://mysite/sites/all/modules/civicrm/install.index.php my drupal site says "page not found". The file is there, I can see it in file manager via the hosting cpanel. What am I doing wrong?

URL is sites/all/modules/civicrm/install/index.php not ending in install.index.php as you have. That dot should be a slash.

Yes that was a typo on my end while adding the post here at the forum, not what I was using to bring the page up. I am still not able to run the installer. Get page not found. I see other people have had this issue here but none of the threads post a solution. Aay takers out there? The client will pay for this to be configured by a CiviCRM specialist.

If the file is there but the URL fails, ask your host. Perhaps it doesn't have execute rights...
