CiviEvent Problem after Upgrade
January 31, 2008, 06:40:11 am
I just upgraded to 1.9 from 1.8. (Joomla) I successfully ran a conference with online paid registration on 1.8.

I just tried to add a free event in 1.9 and received this error running the test process in the backend:
Quote
Array
(
    [callback] => Array
        (

  • => CRM_Core_Error
  • [1] => handle
            )

        [ code] =>

[message] => not connected
    [mode] => 16
    [debug_info] =>
    [type] => PEAR_Error
    [user_info] =>
    [to_string] => [pear_error: message="not connected" code=0 mode=callback callback=CRM_Core_Error::handle prefix="" info=""]
)

Any clues for fixing this would be appreciated...

this looks like an SMTP error.

Did updating the SMTP info fix this for you?

It did indeed.  The mysql login info transfered from the 1.8 settings file to the 1.9 but not the smtp.
