Changing the error message when a page has been disabled

If a page is disabled and there is a link to it in an email or Drupal node, the user gets and error like that in the attachment. Is there a way to display a more friendly error message?

yes, you can use your own custom fatal error handler or own custom fatal template which displays a different / better page. Check the settings here:
