Sending letters from Activity search

I looked into the option of sending pdf letters to the contacts found through an activity search today. I added the code below (against trunk) - It seemed to work but I quickly decided we weren't going to follow that route so it is relatively untested / QA'd.

Am pasting here in case some one else wants to test / QA & open a ticket.
