Solved : can't upgrade to 3.3.x or 3.4.x (joomla) from 3.2.5

Joomla! Version:    Joomla! 1.5.23 Stable [ senu takaa ama baji ] 04-March-2011 18:00 GMT
CiviCRM version : 3.2.5

Hi I can't upgrade from 3.2.5 to 3.3.0 and following upgrade packages. I get this cryptic message : "Sorry. A non-recoverable error has occurred.  One of parameters (value: 1) is not of the type Float."
I tried to rebuild DB schema but the upgrade still fails. I tried to upgrade to 3.3.0, 3.4.0, 3.4.0 with alt package and 3.4.6 but the upgrade fails with the same error message.

Please can someone help ? What can I do more ?

I managed to upgrade to 3.3.0 alpha, and after that to 3.3.0 alpha2 ,but the upgrade to 3.3.0 beta1 failed with the error :

"Sorry. A non-recoverable error has occurred.
One of parameters (value: 1,00) is not of the type Float"

Can someone tell me what is the big difference between the 2 versions ? ???

I took a quick look at the DB to see if there was any obvious places where i could spot the below. Seems like the money amount 1.00 is being translated to 1,00 and hence failing. I could not fiind it :(

best place might be to enable backtrace and get a more specific location where it occurs

You made my day ! I checked out the pricelists and found a 1,0 value for a test contribution (which was disabled but not deleted). I deleted it and upgraded directly to 3.4.6 !

Thank you so much !  :D
