changing status & adding custom data to "completed" email activities

Hello,

I am autofiling email activities via EmailProcessor. I want to followup on some of these emails. How can I change the status from "completed" to something else? I also would like to add & edit custom data. I can see the data set, but cannot edit it. I believe I need to create a new profile, but am unsure how to proceed.

you currently cannot edit auto-filed emails. There was a proposal (which might have been implemented) to allow deletion. But editing of an email activity was not part of the spec and hence not implemented.

You'll need to do this via a custom module and/or extend the code to allow edit of email activities.
