Search Profiles not saved with smart group

Hi,

I'm trying to use a profile to customize the field displayed in the result of a search.
i've defined as a seach profiles and associated it to a search.
Then I save this search in a smart group.
When à return to this smart group via "Manage The groups" and click to the items Constatcs, my search is not displayed with teh profiles.
Is it normal ? Or do I have make some mistakes ?

Not sure I understand what you mean by associating a profile to a search.

What you can do is to use this profile to display the result of a search from an advanced search.

I agree. But I would like to save this profile with the advanced search in a "smart group" and put this smart group in a menu. But the profiles seems not to be save with the smart group.

Ah ok, got you. Indeed smart groups only save the search criteria, not the profile used to display them.

What you can do is to limit the profile result (on the advanced part) to that group, and use the profile to search. Check out the chapter in the book about profile, should guide you.
