Hello,

I'd like to create a customer portal where members can upload large documents (PDF's) and then the client can make comments on them. Is this possible through CiviCRM & Joomla?

It might be possible, but the idea seems strange to me? Why would you want to use a constituent management system to upload large PDF's? Or do you need a CRM solution which can also upload large PDF's?

You can certainly do that kind of thing through Drupal but not sure about Joomla! Drupal's member role sync would give members a role with permission to upload the files. A rule could then inform admin by email that they have something to comment on...
