Groups Not Showing in Membership Dashboard

I find that when members subscribed to a particular group, the group they belong to does not show up on the dashboard. It just says, "You are not currently subscribed to any group". How can i resolve this. Any help will be appreciated.

Possibly the groups' visibility is not set to Public in Group > Settings. If that's not the case, you should try and recreate the situation in the public demo (link above).
