there seems to be a problem with the mail user name which SHOULD be: civicrm@texasdog.org (and that is the way that it is entered in the imap2soap.pl) but for whatever reason the output says that it is: civicrm.org

maybe its something else altogether. I was so pleased with myself to get this far.....[/quote]

imap2soap is not a part of CiviCRM – it’s a third-party contribution – and we don’t (because we lack the resources) support it.

Your best bet might be to mail the civicrm-mail mailing list, which imap2soap’s authors (and users) tend to be subscribed to.
If you found the above helpful, please consider helping us in return – you can even steer CiviCRM’s future and help us extend CiviCRM in ways useful to you.
