Displaying Civicrm Past Events In a Block

Help needed. How can one display a list of past events. At the moment, only current events are being displayed in a drupal block.

One route is to use Views - make a CiviEvent View - set the filter to 'events are less that 'now'' - then add a display for that View that is a Block.
