Disable "Shared Address" or "reserved" profile?
October 19, 2011, 12:32:36 pm
Hi All,

Is there a way to disable "Shared Address" under the profile page?  Someone googles her email address, and her email address is listed under the "Shared Address" profile listing.  The bad thing is that when she clicks on "Back to Listings," it displays my entire membership listings...  I am looking at the different profiles now, but this particular profile doesn't have the "disable" or "delete" option as it is reserved.  ???

Any help is appreciated.  Thanks.

Update:
To be more precise, one of my member is able to google her email address, and Google is able to pull a "Profile Listing" of the "Shared Address" off of my site.  Even though I have never set this listing up on the front-end, Google somehow is able to display this list anyway.  And when that member clicks on search result and then click on "Back to Listings," my site somehow pulls my entire membership.  Is this a security flaw?

r u on Civi 3.3 + Joomla?

We've tightened up permisisoning quite a bit in recent 3.x versions specifically for joomla. so u might want to upgrade to the latest 3.4.x

The permissioning system for Civi 4.x + Joomla 1.6 is a lot stronger than the previous versions
