Are there any initiatives to make all fields available for export regardless of how you arrive at the list you're exporting? For instance, if I do a basic Find Contacts search, I can export that list with basic contact information. But what if I want to include membership data (member since date, expiration date) in the export? I can't get it there. I have to go to Search --> Find Members and export from the resulting list to include membership data in an export.

Currently no.

there has been talk about having a unified set of actions across all the searches, but thats a bit different from what you are looking for

hi there, just wanted to second that i have a similar question. i want to export all member data that was modified by my colleague. i was able to create a smart group to isolate these records. So, while i can export their contact info, i'd also like to export this group's membership info into one csv file. In the "Reports" tab, i can create a report of what i need, but, i can only export the report as a PDF. thank you in advance for any hints!

I'd just like to add a third voice here.  I would also like to see this functionality.  Here is an example of why I want it:  I wanted to find all memberships paid in the  month of December and know which ones are new versus renewals.  I can find the payments through 'find contributions', but not 'find members', because the membership start date is independent of when they pay a membership due.  If they pay it 45 days after the due date, the membership start date stays as the original due date, and not the payment date.  And, because "member since" is not an export option under find contributions there appears to be no way for me to find out the membership history of people who have given a recent contribution. 

Has anyone come up with a workaround? I also thought I could add all those recent contributions to  group, then search for members within that group, but that is not an option either.
