Adding Group Subscription to SignUp Page

How can add the group form on the SignUp Page so that when members are signing up, they should add themselves to a group by picking their group from the group dropdown list. i have tried custom profile but could not see a way to do this. check this link to see what i mean: http://kabissa.org/user/register
