Availability of Auto Filled "Date Contact Added
February 01, 2008, 11:49:01 am
Hi,

Is there functionality in 1.9 so the date a new contact is added is recorded? I'd like to search for contacts added  before/after such and such date".  A date stamp, I guess.

Thanx.

Douglas

Create and modified dates are recorded for contacts in the "Change Log". You can use Advanced Search to search on "created OR modified" - but not created only. You can also see the history of each contact from their Change Log tab.

Having the ability to search solely on "created date" has come up a number of times - so I suspect we'll get to it in a 2.x release. It might be good candidate for our new (2.0) custom search framework as well - so someone might post a solution in the near term using a custom search.
