Not exporting duplicate donations

For some reason, when I export donations civiCRM does not export duplicate donations (more then one donation made by the same donor).  Anyone know why this is and what the fix is?

I think you haven't received any responses because your question is too general.  If you are more specific about exactly what you are doing/trying to do you may some responses :)
