Suggestion for upgrade document
October 29, 2011, 05:44:07 am
Greetings,

A step I perform in the upgrades is to remove the templates_c directory and allow it to be rebuilt with the new version of Civi.

Would it be all right if I added that to the upgrade docs as a separate step? Or are there times that doing so would cause problems?

(Just upgraded, and at first forgot that step as I was following the official upgrade doc steps.)

I think you can add that--there should never be a problem removing those, as CiviCRM should always rebuilt them.

All right, then I will add removing them.

Shall I add it to both the 3.4x and 4.x documents separately?
