Joomla Calendar of CiviEvents....
November 02, 2011, 04:10:41 am
Hi,

1. This can be done by creating a public Google calendar, linking the ICS URL to that Google calendar and then embedding an IFRAME to the Google calendar

OR

2. Use GCalender http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/calendars-a-events/events/events-calendars/1625

However the problem with both approaches is that the contact details (email, address) of the event are not available. Now while it is possible to extend the ICS file for use with Google calendar http://www.google.com/support/calendar/bin/answer.py?answer=48526 this seems like a heap of work for a calendar.

So has anyone got any other suggestions? Or has someone already gone and made a Google calendar work to include the contact details?

All pointers greatly appreciated.
