Custom Fields Data for Relationship do not show up in views
November 02, 2011, 10:11:03 am
I have a view set up which needs to display custom data that I have for Employee of /Employer of relationship (eg. department, roles etc). I am not sure if I am missing something or this feature is not yet available in the CiviCRM views.

A little help will be appreciated.

Thanks

Make sure you have done the steps for Views 3 integration as described at http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC40/Views3+Integration.  It involves modifying settings.php to tell Drupal how to find your Civi database fields, and if you later add additional custom data sets, you have to modify settings.php again.

Thank you for the reply. I have followed all the steps and added several Civi view to Drupal which is working perfectly. The only thing that is not working is I can't get the custom fields for Employee of Relationship. I have updated the settings.php several times already.

Seems like this is possibly the same issue I'm having. Take a look: http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,20995.0.html
