At the bottom of the "Edit Event Registration" form, payments related to the registration are listed -- as they should be.  This bug causes other contributions to be listed also.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a new contact, and create event registrations for two paid events; also record payments for each of these registrations.
2. Open either of these registration records for editing. Note the (correct) listing of one payment at the bottom of the form.
3. Clear the (required) Registration Date field, and submit the form. This will create a validation error stating that the field is required.
4. Observe that the listing of payments at the bottom of the form now includes registration payments for both events.

I've reproduced this in D6 and D7 sandboxes on demo.civicrm.org.

I'd be glad to submit a patch, but haven't had much luck figuring out the cause of problem.  I spent a while digging through Selectors and Controllers but am still trying to get my head around that framework.  If someone can point me in the right direction I'll try again.
