Problems using <strong></strong> in word replacement
November 08, 2011, 03:16:45 am
Please help!

When I use <strong></strong> in word replacement the "<" is transformed to "&gt;".

It is a problem when I want to translate strings like: "To complete this transaction, click the <strong>%1</strong> button below.".

The converted string "To complete this transaction, click the &lt;strong&gt;%1&lt;/strong&gt; button below." is simply ignored. And there is no translation.

Is there a solution?

Best Regards

Pelle

Am I the only one, who experience this behaviour?

You may be the only one who is trying to apply html via that route. Not possible afaik. Word replacement is to eg take the word 'contribution' and replace it with 'donation'
If html is meant to work that is news to me.
Suspect you need to work on the tpl.

OK

– But I found the strings on https://www.transifex.net

How do I work on the tpl.? Do you have a link?

I really want to fix the translation problem.

Best Regards
