Data Export and Import issue

Hello,

       when i exported the contact data from civicrm1.9 and imported to civicrm4.0, then i am facing some problem that all fields of contact data  is not  import success fully .

Now i am using civicrm1.9 for drupal5 and civicrm4.0 for drupal7.

I think as long as you export the data correctly in the format supported by CiviCRM it should work fine. What are your issues ?

hello,

       Issue is  when i import the contact data then after first name , last name , postal code, donar type membership status etc. fields did not  displayed. in our membership. so what should i do for that issue.

For importing membership records you will have to use "Import Membership". You might want to check http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC40/Import+Members
