Problem with Reporting Renewals
November 08, 2011, 09:50:32 am
Using civiMember, we have set up a Membership Status Rule called "Renewal." This rule specifies that individuals who are in the last four months of their yearlong membership (in the 8th to 12th month of their cycle) will be marked with the "Renewal" status, meaning that we need to send them a reminder to renew their membership. For example, as of today (11/8/11), all individuals with a membership ending between 11/9/11 and 2/29/11 have a "Renewal" status attached to their membership.

The problem is this: when we renew someone's membership who has this status (by clicking on "more" to the right of their record and then "renew"), it is not counted as a new renewal for 2011. Our Membership dashboard shows new and renewed members YTD but these renewals do not show up.

Can you help? Thanks!
