Mail lists, groups and tags

Here's the setup

Individuals belong to one or more groups (e.g. Leicester, Cambridge)
Oraganizations also belong to one or more groups (e.g. Leicester, Cambridge)

Some Individuals and Organizations are tagged "Is Member"

CiviMail will let me mass email every contact in the "Leicester" group. What I actually want to do is email all the Organizations in the "Leicester" group who are tagged as "Is Member"

How do I do that please? I can't see anythign that allows me to work with tags

You can do that via a Smart Group.

Depends how often you need to mail them, you don't have to create a smart group, but you can simply  choose schedule/send a mass mailing from the action menu.

We need to email regularly, and memers come and go (as is the wont with membership clubs)
