Can't Get Past Step 3
February 02, 2008, 05:26:56 pm
Hey folks,

I've sent a half dozen or so successful blast emails with CiviMail - no problem. However, I'm trying to send one right now and for some reason even after I type content into the Text and HTML areas, when I click "Next" I'm simply returned to the same screen but with no content. Rather frustrating.

Any ideas on why this is suddenly occurring? Thanks!

Which version of CiviCRM are you using?

FYI, I'm also using Drupal 5.1.

If you have access to the apache logs, check the size of your POST request. I had a similar issue recently (with uploading a file though) and the POST request was ridiculously small (i.e. the browser was not sending a large file over). Not sure how large the content of your text/html message is, but that might be a cause

Thanks lobo.

My message is a simple text message - nothing fancy or big. I've done this several times with similarly sized messages (give or take a paragraph or two) before with no trouble.

Like I said, this happened all of a sudden. Any more ideas?

Can you see anything else in the Apache logs around the time you encounter this issue?
