How can I edit the required fields of the onbehalf profile?
November 10, 2011, 08:14:50 am
I want to remove email from the required fields of the selected onbehalf profile.

Is this possible?

Best regards

Pelle

Hello Pelle,

Go to Administer-->Customize Data and Screens-->Profiles. Now Click on     Reserved Profiles, Locate the On Behalf Of profile, and select fields. To the right of the Email field, select more and choose disable (You could also delete it, but this way it will be here if you need it at a later date). It now appears to have a red strike thru, and will not appear in the profile.

Cheers,
Jason

Not sure if other users have experienced the same issue with WordPress/Civi but If I try to disable the email field, I get the following error

"Sorry but we are not able to provide this at the moment.
This contribution page has been configured for contribution on behalf of an organization and the required fields of the selected onbehalf profile are disabled."

For the on behalf of profile, the organization name and email fields are required and cannot be removed. This is a restriction for now
