Adding new "paid by" option

In the add new member option, when one chooses to record a membership payment, there is a field for "Paid By" with five options to select from:  Credit Card, Debit Card, Cash, Check, EFT.

We have other payment options such as PayPal, or via a third party collections agency. 

How can I add more options to this field?  I can see no place for editing this field.

you can modify the option group: "payment_instrument" via this screen:
