Contribution email rules
November 15, 2011, 07:35:28 am
I have an issue on contribution form, Example when a husband and wife wants to make a donation.Let's say a husband donated and his wife is making a donation but she wants to keep her husband email in there when she submit the form, her husband information is updated with her information that means the email stay as primary id. How we can avoid this issue, I know it's sounds stupid but our client is complaining about it.
Thanks

are you collecting names also in the contribution form? if so, u can make your strict dedupe rule: first + last + email and then the wife will get a new record under which the donation is recorded.
