Can I customize the list of Constituent Types?

When I add or edit an individual, one of the panes is titled "Constituent Info - Individuals" and it contains a required section titled "Constituent Type" that contains checkboxes like Ally, Donor, Intern, Founder, etc.

Can I manage these options?  That is, can I remove some of the default options and add my own options in there?

Looks like "Constituent Info - Individuals" is custom data. So you can edit the options of "Constituent Type" which is a custom field.
