Contact Activity History

After adding a new activity to contact it does not show it the contact activity history. The activity can be found in the Activity Report. Is this expected behavior?

Yes, the change history is only about the contact data (eg changing name...). Sending an email to the contact doesn't change any of these data.

You can find the history of activities by looking at the activity tab (the email/meeting/phone calls... that have happened).

IMO, the change log should contain a bit more records (eg. when the contact has been added/removed from a group or when the email is flagged as on hold from a bounce).

The activity you add is logged under the activity tab, right?
