installation for Wordpress (while it is still pre-4.1 alpha)

Hi there,

Douglas from Scotland's Colleges is interested in getting a copy of CiviCRM up and running on Wordpress (woohoo!) to see what it looks like,  get started with his integration, etc.

Can you let him know what the current status is / where the latest instructions are on installation.  I've read this (http://svn.civicrm.org/civicrm/trunk/WordPress/README.txt)  but am wondering if there is any more up to date instructions anywhere.

I've also linked to other WordPress things that I found after a quick search on CiviCRM.  If there is anything else I am missing, let me know.

Also (if I remember correctly) Stoob was doing some WordPress site set up on his computer when we were in San Francisco.  I wonder if he can help?

I followed the instructions in the wiki.civicrm.org and with Lobo's direct help was able to get Wordpress up and running with CiviCRM trunk 4.1.

The features that were lacking at that time (mid october) were wrapping CiviCRM pages in the public 'theme' of Wordpress, rather than the administration theme of Wordpress.  This way Civi contribution pages and such would have the same look as the public Wordpress site.

You've got all the info I've got at this time.

Try CiviTeacher: the online video tutorial CiviCRM learning library.

This is already fixed :)
